SMS Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: July 26, 2026
Strategic Filtration, Inc. (“Strategic Filtration,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates two text messaging programs: Customer Service Messages, for the customers we perform work for, and Staff Dispatch Messages, for our own employees. Each has its own enrollment, and both are described below. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
1. Customer Service Messages
Who receives these messages
Customers of Strategic Filtration, and the site or scheduling contacts a customer designates, who have provided a mobile telephone number and agreed to receive text messages.
How you enroll
You may enroll by providing your mobile telephone number and agreeing to receive text messages in any of these ways:
- By checking the text message consent box on our Contact Us form;
- By providing your mobile number and giving verbal consent when you request or schedule service by telephone at (713) 939-0505;
- By providing your mobile number on a written service agreement, work order, or service request form.
We do not purchase, rent, or otherwise obtain mobile numbers from third parties for this program.
Types of messages
- Confirmation of a scheduled service date and time
- Advance reminders ahead of a scheduled service visit
- Technician arrival notifications
- Changes to a scheduled date or time
- Emergency service notifications
- Service completion confirmations
These messages are operational and support the services you have requested. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages under this program.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies with your service schedule — typically four to six messages per scheduled service visit. A customer on a recurring service schedule will receive them more often.
2. Staff Dispatch Messages
Who receives these messages
Employees of Strategic Filtration — technicians, dispatchers, service managers, and office staff — who use the company’s internal field service application.
How employees enroll
An employee provides a mobile telephone number during onboarding, or later to an administrator, and consents in writing at that time to receive the messages described below on that number. The consent and the date it was given are recorded on the employee’s record. Enrollment is voluntary: an employee may decline, and may sign in to the application with a username and password instead of a text message verification code.
Types of messages
- One-time verification codes used to sign in to the company’s field service application
- Notice that a job assignment has been added or changed
- The employee’s schedule of stops for a given work day
- Safety escalations raised by a job safety analysis, sent to service managers
- Notice that a job has been flagged as needing a follow-up visit, sent to service managers
- A technician’s request to reach a service manager, sent to service managers
- Reminders that a certification or credential is approaching expiration
Message frequency
Message frequency varies with the employee’s role and workload, and is typically fewer than ten messages per working day.
Charges
Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier and service plan.
Opt-Out
You may opt out of either program at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out you will receive one final confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent to that number unless you enroll again.
Employees should note that replying STOP also stops sign-in verification codes. An employee who has opted out must sign in with a username and password instead, and should tell an administrator so their record can be updated.
